This is the amazing plasterwork in one of the suite of state rooms in the Winter Palace. It is often used for temporary exhibitions. State rooms include the St George Hall (the Large Throne Hall), the Fieldmarshals' Room, the War Gallery of 1812, the Armorial Hall and the Alexander Hall.
